I have no idea what you could do with these little doll’s clothes. They come in 20 pc lots and are so darned cute. Almost as if they were miniature. The dolls they came off of were only about 4″ tall so these could be wee little clothespin doll art. I was thinking if someone was super crafty, they could use them to dress up a little fake mice or something. I bought a bunch of dolls to (eegads) disassemble to use in my assemblage artwork. Yeah, I pretty much break up dolls for a side job, you can read all about that on my Art Studio blog. Work with dolls would be in my Ira Mency art gallery if you want a look see. These little clothes aren’t vintage but they are a super good deal. I just couldn’t bear to toss them out. You can find them here in my Art Supplies section. At least for now you can, I’m always changing sections in my shop, so if you can’t find them, do a search for doll clothes.
I’ve been cleaning out my stuido at my home. It has been a year in progress. Life was so hectic this past summer I closed down my studio and my Etsy shop. Imagine the crap that was piled in there just waiting to be cleaned and sorted that I’d found along my travels.

I’m currently unmassing a lot of art supplies in my Etsy shop which I don’t normally sell. I have so many of them I will be 105 and still making art so I figure, why not let someone else have some? These are great to make pendants, necklaces, earrings, or use in altered artwork. I have so many differnet ones that I will be cleaning out so check into my shop real soon.

I just added a slew of keys for collecting, coveting, or making art into my RetroChalet Etsy shop. They were in my studio for years. So many artists use keys in their work, that I thought these keys were better off with someone else. Not only that, but they are cute little collectibles of industrial history and reminders of yesteryear. All these keys seem to be blanks! I love them all so much, just look!
Welcome to my new RetroChalet’s Etsy shop‘s blog. This should be interesting because I basically suck at WordPress. I’ve been a longtime blogger, but here I am. There is a reason for me starting this blog on WordPress. You see a long time ago when I registered my RetroChalet Blog n Blogger I started writing about melmac dinnerware. Then vintage plastic. Then it turned into Melmac Central Plastic Fantastic and pretty much that’s all it was. Plastic this and plastic that, but what about all the other cool things in my Etsy shop that I wanted to discuss and talk about? I truly didn’t realize when I started that blog it would have become so popular.
That left me little room to talk about a vintage wooden table, or vintage cash register on a plastic dinnerware blog now would it? I’m going to try to see what I can do with wordpress and see what happens. Wish me luck.
